Shri Ajay Kumar Mishra, is a prominent luminary among of the renowned writer in the ocean of Odia Literature. Worship of literature was the real essence of his life. He was born in a very famous place of Odisha named as Sarala Khetra(Jagatsinghpur) in village of Padmapur. His Father was Shi Vanshidhar Mishra and Mother was Smt Haramani Devi. From his childhood, the passion for Odia literature was ignited within him. He selected teaching as his profession to maintain lifelong correspondence with Odia language. He devoted himself completely in the sector of Language, Literature and Culture. He authored many work based on literary criticism, grammar, essays, translations, novels, stories, and biographies. He has bagged a lot of glory and fame in the field of language and literature. Among his compositions "Sahityara Sariratatwa" (1988), Odia Sahityara Dhara o Dhaara' (1989), 'Samikhya ra Swara(1993), 'Bharatiya Kabya Tatwa(1993), 'Samalochana Sahitya(1994), 'Odia Loka Sahitya o Loka Sanskruti' (1995), 'Odia Grammar' (1996), 'Odia Jatra', 'Unmesh o Uttaran' (Maha Nibandha) 'Natyakar Ramchandra Mishra (2005), 'Charcha: PariCharcha' (2005), 'Bhinna Prasanga: Bhinna Drusti' (2005); 'Samrat Vikramaditya' (2005) and 'Radha' (2007), 'Kapicafe' (2007), Genduar Gendumal (2007), 'Saraladevi', 'Radhanath Rath' are considered to be his timeless creations in Odia literature. He has been widely regarded as one of the most influential writers in the field of literature. He has never shied away from writing rather had shown his expertise in various sections of literature and have added his extreme vision and multi-dimensional talent to it. The soil of Odisha is blessed to have such a creative writer.
